Good. I’ve got answers.

I'm located in Pasadena, California, and I offer both in-person and online therapy sessions. In-person sessions are held at my office in Pasadena. Online sessions are available via secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform for clients anywhere in California.

I specialize in working with anxiety, burnout, life transitions, grief and loss, and trauma. I also provide LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent-affirming therapy. My approach is flexible and honors different processing styles, which can be especially helpful for neurodivergent folks.
I provide individual therapy for adults of all ages. I do not offer couples or family therapy. If you're looking for couples or family work, I'm happy to provide referrals during our consultation.

I don't just do talk therapy. I work with your whole self — your mind, your body, and your nervous system — because healing doesn't happen through thinking alone.
I integrate EMDR, somatic sound therapy, mindfulness, and depth psychology and traditional talk therapy to help you process what's stuck — whether that's in your thoughts, your body, or your nervous system. This means we're not just talking about trauma or anxiety; we're actually working to shift how your body holds it.
I also focus on root causes, not just symptom management. We'll explore the patterns, beliefs, and unprocessed experiences underneath your current struggles so you can create lasting change, not just temporary relief.

Yes! In addition to psychotherapy, I offer sound healing sessions, group soundbaths, and breathwork experiences in Pasadena.
Sound healing is a wellness practice — separate from therapy and open to anyone, no prior experience or therapy relationship required.
Whether you're looking for deep rest, emotional release, or simply a way to reconnect with your body, sound can meet you there.

The first session is all about getting to know each other. I'll ask about what brought you to therapy, what you're hoping to work on, and what's been going on in your life. I'll also ask about your history — family background, past experiences, previous therapy, and anything else that helps me understand your story.
This is also your chance to ask questions, get a feel for my approach, and see if we're a good fit. First sessions can feel vulnerable, but there's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with. We'll move at your pace.
By the end of the session, we'll talk about what working together might look like and decide on next steps.
-
It depends on what you're working on and what your goals are. Some people come to therapy for a few months to work through a specific issue or transition. Others stay for a year or more to address deeper patterns, trauma, or long-standing struggles. There's no set timeline, and we'll check in regularly about your progress and what feels right for you.
Therapy is collaborative — you're never locked in, and you can decide when you're ready to step back or end treatment.
-
Most clients meet weekly, especially when doing deeper trauma work or working through acute anxiety, burnout, or life transitions. Weekly sessions provide continuity and momentum for the work.
Some clients prefer to meet every other week once they're more stable or if they're working on maintenance and integration. We'll talk about what frequency makes sense for your goals and adjust as needed over time.

My standard fee is $225 per standard 50-minute session. Payment is due at the time of service and can be made by credit card, debit card, cash, or HSA/FSA card.
I also offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients experiencing financial hardship. If cost is a barrier to getting support, please mention this during our free consultation and we can discuss what might be possible.
-
I do not accept insurance directly, but I can provide you with a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
To find out what your plan covers, you can call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask these questions:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
What percentage do you reimburse for out-of-network therapy?
Do I need to meet a deductible first?
How do I submit claims for reimbursement?
Many plans reimburse 50-80% of out-of-network therapy costs, though this varies by plan.
-
I do not currently offer evening or weekend appointments. My availability is Monday through Friday between 9am-5pm. If you need evening or weekend availability, I'm happy to provide referrals to colleagues who offer those times.
-
I require 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact me by phone, text, or email at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged the full session fee. This policy helps me manage my schedule and offer appointment times to other clients who need them.
Consistent attendance is important for therapy to be effective. If you find that you're frequently cancelling or rescheduling appointments (even with proper notice), we'll need to talk about whether the timing or frequency of sessions is working for you, or if we need to adjust your treatment plan.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, commonly known as the No Surprises Act, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. It is recommended that once you receive your good faith estimate you keep a copy for your records or take a picture for future reference. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call HHS at 1-800-985-3059. -
